Title: Securing the World's Critical Infrastructure in an Evolving Digital Landscape

Abstract:

Microsoft is honored to present to the ONG-ISAC on the critical topic of securing the world's critical infrastructure as digital landscapes continue to evolve. The increasing sophistication and frequency of nation-state and other cyber threats demand a focus on the human element. We must continue to refine holistic plans of action and milestones to combat the top threat vectors to lower the risk to IT and OT.

Speaker Bios:

Jon Wojan is a Principal Technology Specialist with over 30 years of direct industry IT experience working globally with fortune 500 customers.  Today Jon serves customers by helping customers envision the art of the possible by leveraging Microsoft cybersecurity capabilities and practices to ensure they rise to the demands of today's modern and constantly evolving threats. Jon has a BBA from University of North Texas. In his spare time, he enjoys going fast, mountain biking and travelling the world.

Howard Whyte is a Customer Security Officer (CSO), serving as the primary, trusted contact for CISOs on cybersecurity strategy and incident response. Prior to joining Microsoft, Howard held executive level cybersecurity and technology leadership positions at organizations such as Truist Bank, FS-ISAC, Boeing, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Goldman Sachs, NASA, and the US Department of Defense. Howard is focused on aligning information technological capabilities with organizational priorities, establishing global IT security and risk management strategies, and inspiring collaborative leadership to improve resiliency, risk management and governance.
